March 2025 Hill Briefing on AI and Cybersecurity

On Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 the Center for AI Policy hosted a panel discussion for U.S. House and Senate staff on AI and Cybersecurity: Offense, Defense, and Congressional Priorities.

The Center's Executive Director, Jason Green-Lowe, moderated a discussion between a panel of esteemed experts:

  • Daniel Kroese, Vice President of Public Policy & Government Affairs, Palo Alto Networks
  • Krystal Jackson, Non-Resident Research Fellow, Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity
  • Kyle Crichton, Cyber AI Research Fellow, Center for Security and Emerging Technology
  • Fred Heiding, Postdoctoral Researcher, Harvard Kennedy School

The session included a demonstration of an automated spear phishing AI agent, followed by discussion of current cybersecurity challenges, AI's evolving impact, and policy recommendations for Congress.
